Slimy Walls
A downloadable game
Slimy Walls is a short 2D platformer and was made for the weekly game jam 177, the theme was "sticky".
the game has 3 level, each one getter harder.
at the end of each level you will you see your score, share the total score you had at the end of the third level with me in the comments, i'd like to see how well you all did.
the controls;
wasd or arrow keys to move
space to jump
s or down arrow and then space to long jump
r to reset the level

I managed to complete only two levels. The art style is nice and the platforming challenges are interesting. Overall it has good potential and with a little more polish, it would be better enjoyable. Nice work!
Below are a few things I would like to bring to your attention.
1. I fell on spikes too often as they were slightly hard to spot.
2. The character collider being bigger than the sprite is useful for jumps and climbing like 'coyote time' but it is also leading to deaths since the collider is touching the spikes while the sprite is only nearby- this feels like an unfair death.
i know the game has a lot of problems, including the things you said. but i don't have time to fix them because i got a lot of exams this week, it's even a miricle that i did this much. but thank you for your feedback
I understand. Some times I have trouble with motivation while working on a project. I figured you might have already known about these problems, but I thought I'd let you know of the player perspective anyway.
